As a Solar Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing efficient solar PV systems, preparing technical layouts, and supporting project execution teams to ensure optimal performance and quality installations.
Key Responsibilities
Design rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems
Prepare system layouts, SLDs, and technical drawings
Perform load calculations and energy yield analysis
Coordinate with installation and project teams
Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards
Support testing, commissioning, and documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience in solar PV system design and execution
Knowledge of inverters, panels, and balance of systems
Familiarity with AutoCAD / PV design tools (preferred)
Understanding of grid connectivity and net metering
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
